Talk with me about your family

Keepsake Roots began with questions about my own family.

Following the Baumann and Miller branches led me into handwritten church records, archive correspondence, and old newspapers. A name on a tree became someone with a home, a trade, and a story worth keeping.

I handle your project personally, from our first conversation through the finished collection. You’ll be able to see what I found, where it came from, and which questions still need an answer.

That’s the care I want to bring to your family’s history.

From my own family research

A story you can trace
back to the record.

This is a finding from my Miller family research. Open the report to see the evidence, the reasoning, and the question it leaves open.

A family venture
in electric light.

The question
What did contemporary reports say about C. Miller & Son’s electricity venture?
The finding
Three trade-journal notices document turbine plans and franchise news in Clermont, Ossian, and Calmar.
The limit
An approved franchise does not prove when the lights came on. The first day of service remains an open question.
